A Common Man's Point Of View
My name is Bill Ramos. I ran for the Florida State Legislature and hope to run again. I am neither wealthy or well connected but a regular citizen with real, workable plans to fix our state and nation. Because I am unwilling to compromise myself and my determination to speak on behalf of other regular citizens like me, I am usually not supported of any of the corporate or other special interests groups that have more influence our nation than "we the people" do.
I ran for office because we are lead by special interests, political parties, and politicians from both parties, who are bought and sold by corporate lobbyists and other special interest groups and for the sake of our state and nation, that must change.
I believe working men, women, and small business owners are the keys to restoring the business and social cornerstones of our nation and we are the most ignored people in America.
I know this because, as a candidate, I have witnessed the lies and manipulations firsthand. The importance of having the money and connections to buy a place at the table has become more important than good ideas or a commitment to “people first” principles.
In this website I will share my point of view and position on a number of issues. Whether you agree or disagree, please feel free to share your thoughts or questions.
